What is the Julie Faagau Phish Fund?

On July 4th, Julie suffered a severe stroke while on a short gambling & golf getaway in San Diego with her good friend, Fuji. After over a month in the hospital with a diagnosis that she would not regain consciousness, it was Julie's wish to not live an assisted life and all life support was removed on Saturday. Julie passed away on August 10, 2009.

We all know Julie to have been a giver with a very generous heart and donations to the Phish Fund will be a way to give back in Julie's memory. This fund was created to give back to Julie. With Julie's passing, part of these funds will be given to Julie's family, part will be allocated to pay for her memorial service costs, and the remaining funds will be allocated to a few things that Julie would have wanted for to do for people she loved and appreciated. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations to Julie's Phish Fund.

Julie passed away in peace with her friends and family by her side. Plans for Julie's memorial service will be announced shortly. Thank you all for your generous donations, your kind thoughts and prayers. We will all miss Julie, but we all know we have a very special guardian angel watching over us all. At the hospital, the chaplain read a psalm for the dying on Julie's behalf that we want to share...

Drop-off and pick-up off of Floral Drive available

Follow balloons (we think they will be pink) from parking structure to fields as a guide
